ESO 2 Writing + Speaking ( 2 examples)

Option A:
One day of my Xmas Holidays: December the 31st , New Year's Eve
Today I'm at my grandparents´s home, in Cornellà. I'm helping to my grandmother to prepare the dinner for all the family. My cousins are decorating all the house with wreaths, balloons and coloured lights.
Later, my uncle and my aunt arrive, they bring a big black stereo and some music to dance. We don't usually dance in New Year's Eve, we always play bingo or other table games  like “uno” or “parchís” with all the family or we can also perform a little improvised play, but this year is different.
We are having dinner at 9 pm. We are eating some appetizers and a piece of chicken with vegetable sauce and different drinks and some desserts like ice cream or a piece of chocolate and vanilla cake. While we are waiting for the chimes we eat some shortbreads, “mantecados” and nougat and we also watch TV.
Later we are preparing the grapes in small dishes. There are twelve in each one. For one of my cousins, who is 3 years old, we don't put grapes, we put some olives because he prefers them. He can't wait and he eats one of them.
The chimes are starting and we eat the twelves grapes. We are very happy, we are in 2015.
My little cousin doesn't understand anything so he cries but later I hug him and he starts smiling.
My aunt prepares the stereo and we start dancing and later we do karaoke until 5 am. It's too late and we are tired. Everyone go home but my mother and I go to sleep at my grandmother's home.
It was a great night.

Option B: A day in a summer camp (My diary)
Day Two
Today I am lying in my bunk bed, reading a paperback titled “In Cold Blood” that I found in the library.
Today is Wednesday so we have to go canoeing to the river again. We do that activity just on Wednesdays so I’m losing it but I am not in the mood to go out of bed.
Honestly, I am beginning to feel truly accepted by the Olivias, the Chloes, and the Madisons of planet Earth. I am also getting really good at canoeing. But I still prefer to play volleyball with Barbara and Jenny..
Day Three
I have a crush! His name is Ryan and he’s a junior counsellor. There’s so much I like about him: his blond hair, his blue eyes, his goofy smile, … Oh Godness!!! He’s so handsome !!!
Tonight at the campfire sing-along, someone yelled out, “More Taylor!,” and I leaned over and asked Ryan what a “More Taylor” was.
“You don’t know Taylor Swift? In which world do you live?” he replied, looking at me as if he was seeing me for the very first time.
I felt really embarrased but then he got up, went to his tent and took a cd that he gave me. “Here! Listen to her” he said to me and here I am, lying in bed, listening to Taylor Swift
